Appearance: Overall, Cater is quite a good looking guy. He stands about 5ft 11, with a muscular physique. He is fairly happy with his appearance, liking to keep in shape, mostly running or swimming. He isn’t one for team sports, preferring working out alone.
His eyes are a emerald green, usually with a cold tinge to them. He has a punishing glare, excellent when angry at people.
His hair just covers the tops of his ears, which is a medium-to-dark brown and permanently messy, even if he puts it into place within minutes it’s back to it’s messy shape.
Personality:
Carter likes to keep people at a distance, and although will have friends, never confides secrets in them. The more people you tell of a secret, the more likely someone will tell. So he solves the problem by never telling anyone.
Carter has a temper, it is hard to get him mad by once he gets going, you're in for it. He is very much like a bomb with a long fuss, it takes a while for him to blow, but once he does, it's explosive.
There is a give away sign that he is getting angry; Carter will often pinch the bridge of his nose when he tries to calm down. He does it try and concentrate on something else, but it doesn't always work.
Carter can come across as head strong, acting first and maybe thinking later. Yes he often does, allot, but usually with decisions that don't matter. Important ones, he will think about it allot, weighing every possible angle before finally making a decision.

History:
There isn't really anything different or exiting about Carter's upbringing. He had parents who loved him, a high class education, and when he was 7 he got the best Christmas present ever, his baby sister who was born on Christmas day.
Carter loved (and still does) his sister. He acted like her personal body guard half the time, no one hurt his baby sister, even at school. He was once suspended for 3 days for punching a boy in the face for still Noel's chocolate bar. Soon people realized that you didn't mess with Carter's little sister, and she loved it.
They were closer than normal siblings with no secrets from each other, Carter never thought he'd be able to deal without his sister. But he realized he didn't have much choice when he was marked.
The tracker found Carter while he was on his way home from school, he was 17 and Noel had just turned 10. When she saw him with his new tattoo she burst into tears, even someone so young knew what it meant.
But Carter had no choice, and was packed off to the House of Night the same day.
He's seen her since but it's... Different, there's a barrier, and it's his fault. He was the one who changed, even if it wasn't his idea or choice.
He can't deal with the that he will either watcher her grow up, grow (if only in looks) older then him, and one day die. That or he'll reject the change, and leave her alone.
To make it easier on all of them Carter had cut of contact with his little sister, and only sees his parents when he's forsed to. It will be easier for all of them either way, and although he loves Noel, he can't hurt her.

Affinities: Prophecy - Carter, for lack of a better term, can sometimes see the future. Although there are restrictions. He never has visions without at least one person he knows in them. Even if it's someone he's only met them once, he'll always know the person.
- Carter can't control it thought (it could be so much more useful if he could). He describes visions coming on as having a head ache, except behind his eyes. He's come to recognize the pain now though, and will try to get out of crowds if he can, since he often looses control while in visions.
- While having a vision, Carter will react to what's happening, so don't be in arms length unless you're good at dodging fists.
