Yeah, so I'm Jennifer, but I have a few nicknames that I tend to go by on the wonderfully anonymous internet. These are Jensa, Lych, Veve and Jeniveve. Call me any of these five names, and I shall respond. You know how it is, I suppose.
16, and studying for my AS Levels at school, not something I'm looking forwards to, I'll admit.
So, I'm British, born and bred. I have quite a bit of family in Ireland though, if you want to know. A fun fact is, my great-great grandmother was a gypsy, originating from a spanish ancestry. Fun times, I never knew her, spoke to her or even met her. Sad really, she sounded like a fun person to know.
I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to music, being that I bloody love the subject, but I have been outmatched by quite a bit. I play a few instruments, those being Cello, Piano and Bass Guitar, and occasionally when the inspiration strikes me, I even write a bit of music myself. I write a lot of poetry, too. =3
So, as much as I hate to end this little monologue, end it I must. Otherwise it may turn into a Biography. And we don't want that now, do we?
So, thank you - and goodnight. *Le Poofs*

Hooray music! :3 Personally, I (used) to play the flute and I currently am playing oboe, and considering turning it into a career, mainly because I have considerable musical talent. XD Hmm, I've tried piano, I'm not very good though. I can't play with two hands >.> I usually get two beats into a phrase and then start failing miserably. Ah well, maybe I'll get better at it someday.

I would, it's definitely worth it. (although the lower grade pieces can be immensely boring) Because learning the piano gives you such a better understanding of music. :3

how so? just out of curiosity, what will a piano teach me that six years of music study hasn't? xD
and while the small, easy pieces are boring as double hockey sticks, the big, complicated ones are a nightmare to sight read ._. I hate it when composers deliberately put in fingerings that are impossible at the written tempo. Even more so when they know just how difficult said fingerings are on a certain instrument.
