"Interesting. And where is the isolation at?" Maybe Sissy will go by and peek in, see what it's like in there. Probably not as interesting as BlackJack but still, was it like just a detention room or maybe like the hole in the jail. There were a few possibilties of what it could look like but Isis liked fufilling her curiosity. She then smiled digging into her pocket and pulled out a gel pen and wrote on her hand 'Numbre amigo'. Friend's name. That was going to be her first thing about Blackjack, finding out his real name. Know the name and you can find out just about anything you'd like about someone. 'God, this world has no privacy anymore.' she forced herself to not roll her eyes and just settled with tapping her pen on her pants now. Sometimes it was good to have random objects in your pocket.

Blackjack cocked an eyebrow, easily pulling off an expression of mingled amusement and curiousity. "If you're looking to get a peek inside, you better not be afraid of small, dark spaces." He chuckled and added, "It's in the basement. Unfortunately for you, the door's usually locked, and the only ones with keys are Alaine and Professor whats-his-name." The dark-haired seventeen-year-old stretched, his expression shifting to boredom. "So, despite just arriving here, are you going visiting during break?" he asked idly, only somewhat curious. While most fledglings were leaving for two-day stints (the longest one can go without trouble), Blackjack's plans were the other way around: he had invited his buddies from New York to come up and visit him. Alaine didn't know of his plans- and with any luck, she either would never know or would find out and not care. Blackjack really didn't expect either to be the case, but he didn't much care.

"I laugh in the face of claustrophobia," Isis said with a 'ha!'. It was too bad she couldn't go down and take a peek though. Well...she also could manage to get there but she wasn't too fond of getting in trouble unless it was for a good reason-like research, and for now her concentration was on mister tall, dark, and fledging.
"Nah. If anything I'd rather just be able to go out into the city to look around for a few days. I just got here about an hour ago and I'm already bored. Not saying that you're a boring person though. I just get easily bored." And very talkative while bored too apparently. "What about you, visiting anyone or have you already?" If he wasn't leaving maybe he could introduce her to some of his friends-they had to know things about Blackjack. Maybe crucial things that will make her understand why he was so interesting to her besides the fact that he spelt danger. 'That could just be the reason,'

Blackjack shrugged, and answered, "I have no family to speak of, so some of my buddies back home are coming up here for a bit. And before you get too excited, Rochester doesn't have anything particularly special. Just old buildings and a bunch of shops." The fifth former gazed at her thoughtfully for a few moments, as if observing her, then remarked casually, "I'll bet you've never seen the rougher side of city life- you know, like the drug-infested slums and the gun-carrying jerks that only add to the mess." Blackjack's expression and tone remained completely calm, as if he'd simply commented on the nice weather.

Old buildings were lovely and, well, like any girl Isis loved to shop. 'Speaking of shopping I really need some new shoes. But back to the subject at hand, no family. Add that.' She'd only been talking to him for not even ten minutes yet she was learning so so much about him. Maybe she wouldn't have to talk to any of his friends.
Even more intrest displyed on her face as Blackjack went on to talk about the slums and the guns. "Unless you mean on tv or movies then no not really." The closetest she'd ever been to a drug was weed and that was because a lot of people she knew smoked or smelt like it. And the closest gun she'd been to a paintball-take that back a bebe gun. "Sometimes I wish I could see what it was like but I think I'd be a little too afraid of getting shot at."

Blackjack had a faintly amused expression as she responded to his remark. Tv and movies. How unrealistic. Well, zombie flicks are pretty close, weapon-wise, but other than that.. pfft."Thought so," he replied. "So, would you believe me if I told you I was shot?" And would you believe me if I said one of my buddies has a restraining order against his father? What if I tell you how an orphan like me got rich? Still believe me? He snickered to himself, rather distracted by this line of thought. Reincarnation of Captain Jack Sparrow, anyone?(( you may now call Blackjack crazy. Because he is xDD ))

At that her eyes widen and she leaned forward, mouth agape? "Seriously? That's so cool. I mean not but...that is so cool. Not that you got shot but...you know what I mean." Sis had never met a person that had actually been shot before. That was awesome! Well not really about the shot part but...it was hard to explain. It sounded cool but was aweful that he had gotten shot. "Where and how many times?" she glanced over him, wondering where he got shot at. Something inside her wanted to shout 'I knew it! I knew there was a reason why I was so interested in him! Thank you intuition!' but she resisted, content with just a little smirk of personal smugness.
She really needed to get to a notebook and fast, if she didn't write it down she would try herself crazy or worse, foreget something! Yikes! 'Calm down, you won't forget anything. Hopefully...' She lifted her hand and wrote down 'shot', her face calm as if she was casually drawing on herself.

Blackjack rolled his eyes, faintly amused by her reaction. "Technically twice, but the first bullet only grazed my shoulder. My, ah, attacker missed by only inches with the second one." He grimaced, obviously not all too pleased with the fact that the shot had been intended to be fatal. "Unfortunately, I kinda asked for it, the way I was acting."

"Ooo," He was so intriging. No family, apparently not many people like him, he seemed to be the type of person to get in trouble, and he had gotten shot. Isis had never met a person like him, only heard about people like that on tv or movies or books. He seemed just like a character out of a drama that she liked to watch back at home. She wanted to put him in a catagory of what type of 'bad' person he was like. Was he the one that would stay bad, no matter what happened to him? Or would he turn good?
"The latter seems like a bad movie," She then sealed her lips tight as she accidently whispered that, hopeing that his hearing wasn't that good yet to have heard her. "So, how exactly were you acting if you were asking for it?" she asked, praying to Nyx that he haden't heard that and if he did she just hopped he thought she was thinking outloud.

He narrowed his eyes, his expression quickly darkening. "Let's just say that I infringed too far onto someone else's territory," he responded evenly. Blackjack had heard her mumbling, and while he didn't have quite perfect hearing, there was nothing wrong with his ears, at least. Bad movie, huh? You and Kaliea would get along perfectly, he mused dryly.

He definintly heard. That look actually scared of her. 'Note number three: Never say anything you don't mean to out loud. Scary looks.' "I know I'm being nosey but I have to ask. How far?" she asked. One of these days her curiousity was going to get the better of her and she knew it. She just couldn't help it, knowledge was one of those things she craved most in the world. Knowledge was understanding and she wanted to understand Blackjack down to the 't'. 'I wonder if there are any other people like Blackjack around here? Maybe. Maybe not.'

Blackjack raised his eyebrows. "Rather far, still in metaphorical terms. And, before you get nosier, no, I will not tell you the literal version. And if you're smart enough to look at the school records, you won't find anything about my life before being Marked. I've already... fixed them." She's as bad as Kaliea. Almost. But Kaliea had money, and this girl most likely does not. Besides, that's over and done with. In the past. Not my problem anymore, he thought silently, expression calm and his eyes looking off into nowhere.
