The Forest
This large, mostly-evergreen forest is often seen as the boundary between humans and vampyres, as it separates the town from the House of Night. A paved road connects the House to town, but it is rarely traveled by humans. The forest is a combination of human-planted trees and an older, natural forest that was present previously. The trees are quite tall, especially near the House of Night, and it is rumored among human teens that they were planted to protect vampyres from the sun.
