Things are changing at the House of Night, and few of them have any benefit for the fledglings and adult vampyres that reside there. Fledglings are disappearing, and not the you're-doomed-to-die kind of disappearing. And so is it a surprise that High Priestess Alaine is facing stronger and stronger pressure from her colleagues and her superiors to figure out what's going on, once and for all?

Enter the Volatilis, a mysterious band of winged creatures that have been residing in the forest that surrounds the House of Night. High Priestess Alaine has set up a protective barrier to keep them out, but some of the students don't agree that they are the reason why fledglings have disappeared.

There isn't much time before things take a huge turn- for better or for worse. And when the only ones who might have the answers are blockaded out of reach, nobody knows what's about to happen.

That's what I have so far. I'm working on adding to it, improving it, etc.

We'll need:
*Five to seven members of the Volatilis
*Four or five fledglings to try and ally themselves with the Volatilis
*Up to four fledglings to disappear. I haven't decided what'll happen to them yet. xD

If we're allowed to have more than one charrie (since I already have Laci) I'd be happy to help out as a fledgling as well. He or she could be one to try and ally his- or herself with the Volatilis dudes.

I'm reading Untamed now... are they mentioned in it, or did you make them up by yourself? They seem familiarly realistic... ^-^

Yeah, you can have as many characters as you can keep up with. :3 That means you have to post with them all, though I prefer if you keep only one account. I have about four or five characters as of last count, if I remember. x3

That's great if you can make a fledgling to ally with the Volatilis. :3 And I made them up, they aren't in the books. xD Maybe you're thinking of the ravens.. they're winged, but the Volatilis aren't necessarily evil, like the ravens are.

Probably just Vampyres with wings, but that's just how I imagine them. Kyra's the inventor person.

I haven't really decided what they look like yet xDD Ummm I guess they can be somewhat humanoid, but they've got some bird-like qualities (wings, talons, etc)

This is what I'm imagining though, lol.
But yeah, the little birdy thingy on the thing's hand, I was just thinking like how vampyres had Marks, the volatilis things could have something similar, but on their palms. But that's just what I was imagining. x3

And yes, I can draw a lot better. And write better, but I'm bored, and when I'm bored I don't like doing big project things. And I also tend to ramble when I'm bored, like now. >.<

No, they can't. They're a different species, not like how humans and vampyres are connected. But they can imprint.
