Alaine didn't reply this time. Rather, she silently opened the door that led to the dorm hallway and held it open for the new fledgling. Note to self... smack whoever it was with the brilliant idea to let the fledglings have alcohol.(( sorry, short post today, I'm kinda out of it ))

Cyra stepped through the door-frame and into the hallway. After the chaos of the common room, this was a lot more orderly. - Well, why wouldn't it be? It's a hallway. - Cyra thought this to herself, letting her eyes trail across the corridor, looking at all the doors. She was subconsciously trying to spot the one with number '13' on it.
[no problem, we all get it]

Alaine stepped into the hallway, closing the door behind her. "See the end of the hallway? The stairs are right around the corner, dorm thirteen is the second door on the right." The High Priestess thought for a moment, and then added, "I don't have your room key with me at the moment, but the door won't be locked. If you don't mind, I'm going to wake up one of the other girls and have her show you around." Alaine rubbed her eyes, tired, before starting for the stairs at the end of the hallway.

"Up the stairs, second on the right..." Cyra muttered to herself, cementing it in her brain. She wasn't sure if she'd need to, but it was good to be safe. She walked with the Priestess to the end of the hallway, it wasn't like she could do anything else. Now that would be silly. She looked up when the priestess spoke again. "Yeah, I don't mind. Can't vouch for them, though." Cyra said the last sentence in a dry voice. It went without saying that she meant whoever was going to be awoken. She doubted they'd enjoy it.

Alaine had considered allowing Cyra to be the first up the stairs, but saying as she had the longer legs and faster gait, she started up the staircase first. Paying no mind to the fledgling taking the stairs at a slower pace behind her, Alaine climbed up, stepping on every other step as if they were right next to each other. Once she reached the second floor, Alaine took two long steps and stopped in front of room eleven. She rapped on the solid door one, two, three times, then leaned back on her left foot to wait. A few short minutes and the sound of someone falling out of bed preceded the opening of the door. A dark-haired teenager with dark, sleepy eyes peered out at the Priestess, her mind fuzzy from sleep. "Can I help you?" she asked, her words distorted by her German accent. Alaine nodded and replied, "Yeah. We've got a new fledgling here- show her around today, and explain the basics. I'm going back to bed." Liese sighed, poked her head farther out of the door to get a glimpse at the new girl, then retreated inside, closing the door behind her. A short minute later, she reappeared in the hallway, her short hair brushed and fresh, impeccably neat clothes replacing her rumpled bedclothes. She could see Alaine disappearing down the stairs, leaving the new fledgling in her wake. "So, are you new girl?"

Cyra briefly glanced over as Alaine left to get some sleep, but her eyes quickly flicked backed to the door in front of her as Liese came out again. At the question, she nodded. "Yeah, I'm Cyra. What's your name?" she asked softly. She didn't really think there was much else to say, to be honest.

"I am Elisabeth, or Liese, since Americans insist on wrong pronounciations." She shrugged, a faint inkling of a smile momentarily apparent on her face. "I hope my accent is not so bad that you understand me not." The dark-haired sixth former rubbed one eye tiredly and proceeded to cross her arms over her chest, looking all the world like a typical American teenager. (( I love the way Germans pronounce Elisabeth XD forget our pronounciation, it's so much more fun to say e-lees-a-bet XD then again, I'm not that bad in German class ))

Cyra smiled, yes - she'd dealt with Americans pronouncing things wrong, or just misunderstanding her, "I know what you mean, although the most I've dealt with is people berating me because I use English terms." she said in a quiet, wry voice. She put a hand in one of her jean pockets, smiling slightly at Liese's comment on her accent. It wasn't that hard to understand, really. She glanced up at the girl, "Well, I suppose - You lead the way?" she said, smiling slightly. As usual, she was a little impatient to get things over with - although she was trying to suppress it.

Liese shrugged ever so slightly. "Of course," she responded, her speech a tad slower than Cyra. "You vish to see the dorm lounge und kitchen, or the school grounds?" (( whee short post ._. my muse is dying on me, and right before Nano too ))

[Fun times, fun times...]
Cyra smiled slightly, she had just gotten a good look at the dorm lounge, and doubted there would be much to see in the kitchen aside from the usual stuff and food, so she felt the answer to be fairly simple. "I think the grounds sound fun, so I suppose it'd be that then, please." she said slightly dryly, but with a smile, so the idea that she might not be that interested was negated. Seeing the grounds did in fact interest her - she had a liking for the outdoors, it gave her a lot to work with when painting.

Liese shrugged in response and gestured to the staircase. "After you," she replied, doing a rather good job of concealing her irritation. It really was difficult to go from priestess-in-training to a totally average fledgling, and even more so when the change involved crossing an ocean and having to relearn the basics of English. A difficult change indeed... she mused silently, starting down the hall towards the stairs. (( fun times indeed ))
