Somehow, one of the professors figured out how to mess with the computers so that every fledgling at the House of Night can chat with each other. For some reason, human kids show up too, though nobody quite knows why. Either way, instant messenging has become all the rage at the HoN, so why don't you join in?

It's not strange to see a fair number of people hanging out here. This is a popular place for teens to just chill, though some stop by and do their homework here on their way to the high school, just down the road.

Most of the time, it's pretty quiet here. But when one of the big movies comes out, this theater will be packed to the brim with teens. At least they sell a lot of popcorn.

The mall is where every teen in the nearby vicinity spends their afternoons and weekends. Some teens work part-time in the stores, but most just shop, procrastinate, flirt, and hang out with friends.

Even in winter, this three-pool complex is often full of local kids looking for something to do. The indoor portion contains the smaller of the two main pools, a small sauna, and the two locker rooms. The outdoor, fenced-in area contains a small playground, the larger of the two main pools, and a small, circular kiddie pool.

Need to think? Lonely? In need of comfort? Then you might want to think about visiting Nyx's temple. She is always here, whether you're aware of it or not. The High Priestess is also here quite frequently, for obvious reasons.

The courtyard is not exactly a true courtyard, persay, but that's what everyone calls it. It's grassy and mowed weekly, and the occasional tree is scattered about. A few benches were placed in the courtyard, but time has worn them down and one by one, the benches have broken. And, honestly, nobody really cares enough to buy new ones.

If your fledgling is in the middle of class, they ought to be in here. Unless they're skipping class. Which wouldn't be particularly wise.
And, likewise, if your fledgling or vampyre is lurking in the halls, they can probably be found in here. Or are they hiding in a broom closet? I don't know. We don't know. You go find them.

Food. That's usually all that goes through the minds of the students in here. Food and friends, anyway. All meals are served here, and sometimes snacks can be snagged, if you catch them at a good time.

This is usually seen as a place for research and study- not particularly popular among many students. However, there are a few students who regularly come by, and while the library is usually pretty quiet, some days it can be quite full.

This is where the horses are housed, and where equestrian classes are held. Some students like to come down here to relax or just think, and it's not uncommon for the cats to hang around here.

The professors have a building all to themselves, and they all have their own space, which they can change however they please.

This is where the girls sleep and hang out. It's not particularly odd for the guys to come over and hang out in the common room, and when they aren't off doing other things, the girls can often be found chatting or studying with their roommates.

Located to the north of the House of Night, Lake Ontario is the smallest of the Great Lakes and not very far from either Niagara Falls or the House of Night. It is a popular destination for the locals due to its close proximity.
