Hannah walked into class. At this House of Night, the Drama class had always been open. Today she was filling in the gap. She wore a long, flowy dark purple skirt and a black, form-fitting shirt. When anyone else wore it, it looked skanky. But on Hannah it looked classy and elegant. She swooped into class, Tiger at her heels. If it weren't for her tattoo, some of the vampyres here might have mistaken her for a fledgling. In real years, not in looks, she was in her mid-twenties. Which meant she looked about 19. As fledglings filed in, their faces glazed, she smiled. "Okay! Let me get the rules straight. Rule Number One: You don't have to call me Professor. It makes me feel old. You can call me Miss Summers or Hannah. Rule Number Two: When you're acting, you need to be relaxed, and be your character. You can't be in character when you're immersed in your stressed-out fledgling life. So, for five minutes of each class, I'm going to let you meditate and relax. Rule Number Three: We aren't just going to be doing monologues, like in other Houses of Night. We're going to do plays, and learn about set design. So be ready.
She scanned the class with her blue-eyed stare. "Okay?"
