- Vampyre: The HoN spelling of vampyre
- Fledgling: A recently Marked youngling. They will either die or become full vampyres.
- Affinity: A gift from Nyx. (visit the affinities thread)
- Mentor: An adult vampyre that assists their assigned fledgling until said fledgling completes the Change or dies.
- RP: Roleplay
- OOC: Out of Character (not roleplaying)
- IC: In Character (roleplaying)
- RPG: Roleplay Game (another name for RP)
