As you might notice in the school rules, the cat will choose you, and not the other way around. If you want info on how you'll be receiving a cat, see the Random Events thread.

Colors:
Basic: White, silver, gray, dark gray, black
Yellows: Cream, yellow, gold, cinnamon (light & dark), red, sorrel
Blues: Light, blue, and dark
Browns: Fawn, lilac, chocolate (light & dark)
Specials: Abyssinian, burmese, dark tortoiseshell, calico, bicolor
Points: Teal, chocolate, cinnamon, blue, lilac, red, cream
Eyes: Copper, gold, yellow, green, hazel, aqua, blue

Markings:
Classic Tabby: most of the body, stripes
Ticked Tabby: little stripes along flank, legs, tail, head
Spotted Tabby: most of the body, spots
Marbled Tabby: most of the body, large splotches
Tipped: gives a sheen of another color to the coat
Solid Points: Head, paws, and tail
Lynx Points: Same as solid, but with stripes


You'll be able to design and name the cat given to you. Also, nearly every fledgling and vampyre receives a cat at some point. So, if you don't have a cat, don't worry- you'll get one at some point.
