Appearance: Noel definitely looks older than her years, looking and acting more of a teenager than a 12 year old, she’s 5ft 5 and a slender build. Her hair is chestnut brown; which falls passed her shoulders in natural loose waves. She’s tried straightening it but it takes to long, and she can’t be bothered with the extra work.
Noel’s eyes are a dark, chocolate brown, taking after her fathers eyes instead of her mothers (and Carter her brother). She loves them and when she can be bothered, she’ll wear make up but that’s pretty unusual.
Personality: Noel was(and still pretty much is) a good kid. She used to be the butter-wouldn’t-melt-in-her-mouth sort of girl, steering clear of trouble, besides even if she did get involved in anything, her brother would keep her from getting hurt. He had been like her own personal body guard and she’d loved it.
A few years back she would have done anything to please her family, she loved to please and make her parents proud of her.
But that’s changed since her brother was marked and walked out on them.
At first Noel thought it would be like he was at boarding school or something, but when he started ignoring her letters she wondered if she’d done something wrong and make him mad enough to stop talking to her. Since then Noel’s changed quite a lot.
She’d begun acting out, making friends with older people, messing around and staying out late. Why not? How she was before had upset Carter so she had to change.
Sarcasm has become a second language for Noel now, every second word is some sarcastic comment, and it drives her family crazy.
Noel really cares about people close to her though, even her parents who she drives up the wall most of the time, and Carter even though he seems to be phasing her out. Her friends too, she’ll always go the extra mile to people.
Noel misses her brother like crazy; it’s been almost 2 years since she’s last seen him. She’s asked to go to the family day but every time her Parents ask Carter, he says no. She has given up writing to him now, he never replies.

Noel was born on Christmas day and often described by her brother as “the best Christmas present ever”. And that was the beginning of their friendship. Throughout her young life Noel was Carter’s shadow, you never got one without the other. She loved her big brother, and unlike normal siblings, they rarely fought.
When she was younger Noel remembers her brother punching a boy in the face for stealing her chocolate. She’d appreciated it, and even though he got in trouble Carter didn’t seem to mind, he seemed to still think it would be worth it.
The family continued on as normal until she was 10, even her little world got turned upside down. When Carter was Marked she burst in to tears, knowing her brother was going to be torn away from her. He left that night and she hasn’t seen him since.
She’s written, called, even tried to see him, but he ignored her every time. Noel didn’t understand why.
She began to think it was her fault, something she did before he left to make her brother so angry. So to try and make it better, she began to change. She went almost over night from a sweet 10 year old to a moody acting preteen.
Over the last 2 years Noel’s got progressively worse, beginning to hang out with older teenagers, trouble makers and future drug addicts. Most think she’s 14 (because she told them so) and Noel has no wish to tell them the truth.
If Carter could see her now...
