Appearance: A pale beauty. Selene is tall, thin and slender. Selene has long, raven-black hair and deep blue eyes almost the precise shade of her deep blue tattoo. She has a small freckle in front of her ear and behind her cheekbone. Selene has her ears pierced, and one on her upper ear too. She has long, tapered fingers and has an air of elegance and mystery about her. She has a light pink mouth that always seems to be curved into a shy smile. Her eyebrows, when she raises them, have points rather than curves.
Personality: Selene is calm, and as peaceful as her namesake, the goddess of the moon. She is sweet-tempered and kind-hearted. She rarely gets angry, but when she does she is as cold as ice and as merciless as Hera. Not much can shake her up, and when she sets her mind to something she gets it done. She is a loyal friend. Selene is smart, sharp, and quick-witted. Sometimes when frustrated Selene can be a bit sarcastic and has a mocking tone to her soft, singsong voice. She loves to sing, draw, write haiku, and play with other people's hair. Her favorite colors are purple, indigo, and ice blue.

History: Selene, formerly Selene Kaligaris, was a punk as a human. She was Marked by a Tracker when she was at a restaurant, and the panic that ensued caused her some trauma that made her a far more shy individual. While people were screaming, she ran away. While she was running, she was accosted by a frenemy of hers, with her gang of cronies. They had seen the tattoo, and screamed and ran away. She had come to her home and packed her bags and ran away. If her parents had caught her, they would have lectured her on how she was misbehaving and it was her fault. She came to the House of Night alone, with a small bag of clothes and fear in her heart.

Affinities: Water, but she fears her affinity and tends to ignore it.
Tattoo(s): Blue, Filled in crescent moon with three dots in the inside. Her family, far back, descended from great pagan healers and worshippers of the Greek gods, such as Nyx. Hence, Nyx has favored her and filled in her crescent.
