Appearance:

Anessa is fairly close to your typical European: fair skin, brown hair. Her eyes are more Western Europe-Asia, since they're dark brown rather than the usual blue. Her faace is kinda squarish, with a fairly prominent jaw. She is an inch and a half shy of being five foot six inches, and fairly skinny. She isn't underweight at all, but really quite bony.

She has a really unique style when it comes to clothing and makeup. She usually wears grays, and this she has incorporated into her school uniform. She likes to accent her clothes, for example, a black scarf over a gray hoodie, a gold necklace over a black coat, that sort of thing. As for make-up, she likes to keep it simple: a little bit of eyeliner, some eyeshadow, usually copper with a little bit of hazely glitter, pink lip gloss, and concealer for those pesky zits.

Personality:

Anessa is very loyal to her friends, a trait that seems to be lacking in many of today's youth. She is mostly honest, and very outgoing and friendly. She's quite the romantic, often dreaming up her perfect boyfriend or just fantasizing in general. Anessa is quite trustworthy, and while she won't always tell the truth, she can always be trusted to keep secrets, either hers or others. She's fiercely optimistic, even at the worst of times, and is determined to survive her years as a fledgling. Surprisingly, she's quite patient and very organized, despite being forgetful and a bit of an airhead. Anessa is also quite polite and agreeable, though she does have some ambition in her too.

Anessa likes to read and watch old movies from the 90s, but cooking is her absolute favorite thing to do. Dancing is her second-favorite hobby, though juicy gossip is quite high on her list of likes. She is a self-professed chocoholic and very obvious about the fact. She doesn't like sports, poetry, or history, and she finds politics and jealous boyfriends boring. She doesn't like veggies, and never has, a fact that has long frustrated her parents. She's terrified of snakes, though she isn't very vocal about it, preferring not to give anyone power over her.

History:

Anessa was always content to be the baby of the family, always able to blame her older siblings for everything and anything she did wrong, though that didn't mean she wasn't best buddies with them. When her older sister went off to school, she and her brother had to get used to spending their days without her. The following year, her brother started school as well, leaving Anessa alone with her mother every day.

When Anessa did start school, she quickly excelled in some subjects and did poorly in others. As she got older, she became an avid reader, and a frequent visitor to the school library. She has never been the type to spend hours on a computer, though she prefers to do her written assignments in a word processor than by hand with pen and paper. Anessa was starting her sophomore year of high school when she was Marked by the Tracker, which leaves us at present day, with her trying to fit in among the other, very different fledglings.
