Cyra is fairly average in height, towering at 5’6 inches. She looks like she could pass for the sexy grease monkey that works at the local mechanics, but she’s not a complete tomboy. She has long dark hair that extends down past her shoulders down to her breasts, which is usually kept untied. She has fairly pale skin, which has a slightly sun-kissed look, and an English accent as she grew up there. Her eyes are a cool black, and this, coupled with her surname would sometime cause her to be referred to as ‘Raven’. Normally she is seen in straight jeans that loosely hug her legs, and wearing a plain, ¾ sleeved top. This is sometimes admonished with a jacket or hoodie. As well as this, she has a pair or black and white converses that she nearly always wears. She has the Japanese sign for ‘Aether’ tattooed on her hip.
Personality:
Cyra has a fairly calm demeanour, and is easy to get along with. Obviously, she does get grouchy sometimes, and will have a tendency to snap at people when she’s in a mood, but she rarely holds grudges, unless the grudgee has done something really serious to her.
She doesn’t talk much, but it’s not due to lack of confidence, it’s usually because she doesn’t have anything to say, or doesn’t feel like talking. She tends to hold things back sometimes, and if someone is trying to explain something to her, she can get quite impatient, and prefer that they ‘reach the point’.
She’s not afraid of taking risks, and while she’s normally happy to stick to the rules, she’ll break them if they stand in the way of getting things done. She’s quite self-preserving, but she would put her life on the line for someone if she cared about them enough. She's also quite intelligent, but she’s no genius.

Cyra’s given name was Beverly, and was born in Exeter, 1996. She lived there until she was 13, which was when she moved to America with her parents and younger brother. The years leading up to this were nothing special; she had a fairly normal upbringing. She started the Cello when she was 6 years old, and played at Concerts often. She started drawing when she was 10, and gradually got more skilled. She finds it a meditative action for her, it relaxes her, but she doesn’t often show her work.
A month after her 13th birthday, Cyra’s family packed up and moved to a town not far from Rochester, she got work a week or so later, helping out at the local mechanics, the pay wasn’t bad, and she enjoyed the work. She and her brother had a fairly good relationship, they would help each other out with things, and go to ‘events’ together, such as rock concerts.
The day before her birthday, the ‘flu’ that Cyra had been taken down with for the past day or so was explained when the tracker found her during an art class. The usual happened after that, Cyra got marked and had to pack up and move to the house of night. The relationship between Tyler and her hasn’t changed, but they have become a bit more distant. Cyra supposes that the possibility that she could die at any time and the fact that she will end outlive him by a bit more than a good few years has contributed to that.
When she got to the House of Night, she changed her name to Cyra, after the Irish saint, keeping her original name as her middle name.

Cyra has a visually prophetic affinity, meaning that some of the scenes and scenarios that she paints or draws actually come to pass. Although, she reckons the actual visions come from dreams, as they usually provide the inspiration from her artwork.

A dark amethyst outline of the crescent moon with a teardrop below the higher point.
Other:
Cyra is a skilled Cellist and likes to draw a lot. Her images usually are influenced by what she sees as she sleeps, as she has very vivid dreams.
She’s quite good with mechanics, as she did in fact work as the grease monkey at the local mechanics for a year or two before she was marked.
Her birthday is on the 13th October.
