I arrived at my new House today... it's nice, but just not the same. There's something about Michigan that just says "home" to me. Oh well.
I met a few new people today. There's Professor Darkshadow, who teaches Equestrian Studies and is really nice; High Priestess Alaine, who's a bit intimidating at first, but really isn't too bad; Nick Regner, who's a fourth former and who gave me a quick tour of the school; and Toby Damon, who is actually my cousin on my dad's side.
Can you believe it? My cousin is a fledgling at this House! That's just amazing! And I haven't seen him since I was, oh, eight. It's really cool. And he's a third former like me, even though he's a year older than I am.
Well, living here is gonna take some getting used to, but I think I'll be okay. After all, I've got Toby if things get tough here like they did back in Michigan.
Frigging jerks just don't understand... the spirits of dead people are so much more interesting than they seem... and they most certainly do exist!
